"
Improve the quality of your customer data"

The porting of established applications to Linux is growing as the use of Linux grows in the server market. Vendors are positioning themselves as OS neutral in the pitching of their software and hardware products. Melissa Data will be showcasing their recently ported Linux-based address verification tool at Real World Linux in Toronto April 13-15.

Address Object for Linux verifies addresses, in real-time or batch applications, by comparing the address submitted against the U.S. Postal Service’s database of 140 million deliverable addresses. Once an address is verified, corrected, and standardized to USPS specifications, a ZIP+4 code is appended to the record.

The benefits of cleansing data using Address Object can be measured in accurate mailing and shipping deliveries, successful target marketing, effective CRM campaigns, and reliable storage of data. Address validation also protects Web pages against data-entry errors and fraud.
