Melissa Data Releases ListWare 6.0
Free formatting program enables easy transfer of files for data
hygiene and enhancement
ATLANTA, GA – (October 16, 2005) Data quality services provider
Melissa Data today announced the release of ListWare 6.0, a patented
software program used for submitting contact files to Melissa Data
for a variety of hygiene and enhancement services. The announcement
was made here at the Direct Marketing Association’s 2005 Conference
& Exhibition.
ListWare allows a company to extract from a database only the fields
of information relevant for the required processing. ListWare
formats those fields in the company’s list and then compresses and
encrypts the file for secure online submission to Melissa Data for
processing.
The newest version of this popular utility now offers business data
append. Users can select up to 10 different categories of
information to append to their list, including: company name and
address; contact name and title; employee size; sales volume; fax
number and SIC code. Based on the size of the file, the estimated
cost for processing is calculated and displayed on the screen prior
to submitting the file.
ListWare is easy to install and simple to use. A friendly help
wizard guides the user through all the steps, including selecting
services, formatting data fields, calculating fees, transferring
files and managing returned files. Melissa Data offers ListWare 6.0
