Use the GeoCoder Suite to market and mail smarter by
validating addresses in your database, then geocoding
them with links to the most precise geographic and
demographic data available. The GeoCoder Suite appends
latitude and longitude coordinates, Census tract/block
numbers, and county data down to the ZIP + 4 level.
Address Validation
Address validation is performed by the
Address Object API which verifies addresses to the
highest level of accuracy - the physical delivery point
- using the DPV™ and LACSLink™ systems and appends a
valid ZIP + 4® code.
Geocoding
Once the address is verified and standardized, the
GeoCoder API returns the latitude & longitude
coordinates to the sixth decimal place. This data can be
used to develop a dealer/store locator lookup, pinpoint
customer locations and clusters, or define sales and
marketing territories. You can also link to 2000 Census
Bureau demographic data to profile your best customers
for common traits for target marketing purposes.
